I don’t want to embarrass Adam Connor, but…

Adam Connor embodies some of my favorite attributes of my favorite westernmassers. He is kind, humble and self-deprecating. The humility made it a little harder to get a feel for his art, so I turned to my observations and his answers to our “FOE wants to know” questionnaire. How he lives, is who he is. Adam’s blog – is a collection of articles, interviews and videos about other artists and their process. Where do I see Adam – at FOE, where he comes in regularly with his family. Adam might not be sure what childhood influences shaped his aesthetic, but his children are already being taught to enjoy and articulate their own tastes and appreciation for art and design. And Adam’s answers to the questionnaire confirm what I suspected. What’s important to him: his family, staying sane, thinking with his heart, always being helpful and beer. Adam is a generous teacher and a humble learner and when that’s who you are, you can’t go wrong. Oh, and the first piece of the LOOK: A Local Group Show to sell – Adam Connor’s framed Octorider print. Don’t worry, more prints available for purchase here and in the shop, but they are going fast!
