April 13th - May 5th, opening reception April 13th 6-9pm

FOE curates a Latin American group show for their April 13th opening.  Political themes and a street aesthetic are shared by this diverse group of artists.  Argentinean born, Northampton resident Ramiro Davaro-Comas uses acrylic and spray paint to create works focused on political and economic issues.  First generation Colombian-American artist Jessica Sabogal paints intense and personal images of women in multi-layered stencil.  The show also includes prints from the Asaro Collective in Oaxaca, Mexico.  Artists in the collective create works influenced by the political and social issues in their region.
