WHAT WE TALK ABOUT WHEN WE TALK ABOUT AESTHETIC

Thursday June 27 7PM

Aesthetic can be a hard thing to wrastle down, categorize and define.  Why you like what you like is predicated on your unique circumstances.  Beauty is relative.  Aesthetic is some combination of exposure, repetition, experience and examination.  What moves one person to carve in pencil lead and another to fill a home with Simpson’s memorabilia says something about what it means to be human.  Sharing what you’re passionate about exhibits generosity, kindness and connecting-ness.  Everyone experiences beauty.  Listening to people talk about what’s important to them furthers understanding.  Four 15 minute presentations on aesthetic means you learn about someone/thing else while simultaneously examining your own aesthetic.  You’re going to relate to one more than another.  Every presentation is unique and part of all conversations about beauty.  Our first aesthetic event is:  Colin Panetta, Jim Shea, Nicole Shea and Sam Gas Can.  Thursday June 27th starting at 7:00 pm.
